Brian Juel, D.D.S.
Dr. Juel completed his pre and postgraduate education at the University of Washington where he received his doctorate in Dentistry in 1980. Dr. Juel and his wife, Christopher, entered a general practice residency in the Air Force at Offutt Air Base, SAC Headquarters or better known as "Ground Zero" or as Dr. J puts it, " the most desolate place on earth". From there, he was assigned to Okinawa where he experienced scuba diving, golf, wind surfing, and or course, dentistry where he was in charge of all specialty departments when dentists were absent. His greatest joy in life was the adoption of two Korean children, Tyler and Brianna, while stationed on the island. Germany was his next assignment at a little base named Spangdalem, home of the "wild weasels", the first fighter squadron to enter the Iraq war to take out the radar. Another miracle happened while stationed in Germany, the birth of his daughter, Ryan.

His family returned home and gravitated to the Olympic Peninsula, finally establishing the practice in Sequim in 1993. The philosophy of Sequim Family Dentistry is a simple one, treat everyone like family. Dr. Juel has always maintained the highest ethical standards, offers second opinions at no charge, and believes the patient is a vital part of the decision process.

Nathan Gelder D.M.D.
Dr. Gelder was born and raised in Salem, OR and graduated in 2002 from dental school at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. After graduation he spent four years with the Navy, first in California where he completed a General Practice Residency gaining post-graduate experience in all areas of general dentistry at the Naval Hospital, Camp Pendleton. After that it was off to Japan where he spent three years stationed at the Marine Air base at Iwakuni. Once his time with the Navy was over it was time to return to the Pacific Northwest, this time to Sequim, where he has been practicing with Dr. Juel since 2006. Dr. Gelder always strives to achieve the highest level of care and takes time to make sure his patients are comfortable and well informed. In his spare time he and his family love to enjoy the outdoors, whether it be on land snow or water.
